Donations to our foundation will be used to enlarge opportunities, and increase the life standard of children in Indonesia. We will do this by investing in education, for example by renovating facilities, English language development or developing skills for the job market. Read more about our mission here.

Yes! Due to our Public Benefit Organization/Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling status the Van Empel Goldman Foundation does not pay Dutch inheritance tax or gift tax on donations. Additionally, Natural and Legal persons making donations to the Van Empel Goldman Foundation may deduct their gifts from their Dutch Income tax or corporate income tax. EGF aims to keep expenses in relation to activities below 20%, which mostly consist of bank and transfer related costs. This means that at least 80% of your donation will directly be invested in increasing opportunities for underprivileged children in Indonesia and to increase their life standard. Between 2017 and 2020, our average expense to activities ratio was 8.39%.
Mollie Payments is our payment provider and takes care of all digital payments using IDEAL, Credit Card, Bancontact, SOFORT Banking, and PayPal .
